Prof. Dinesh Kabra, co-PI of NCPRE and founder of the start-up ART-PV India Pvt. Ltd. has received new equipment for the deposition of perovskite on silicon, and his research team has moved into a brand-new 6300 sq. ft. clean room in the IIT Bombay Research Park. The new facility is called 'TANDEM' (Technology Advancement of Next-Generation Devices based on Energy Materials) Laboratory, and will focus on perovskite-silicon solar cells. Shri S. K. Sarangi and the team from MNRE visited the facility on July 29th, 2026.
