ART-PV India Pvt. Ltd., a startup incubated under NCPRE at IIT Bombay, successfully participated in Bharat Innovates 2026, one of India's flagship innovation events held in Nice, France and inaugurated by the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the President of France, Mr. Emmanuel Macron. The event provided an outstanding platform to showcase India's emerging deep-tech innovations and foster interactions with policymakers, investors, industry leaders, researchers, and entrepreneurs.

ART-PV India received an encouraging response for its work on high-efficiency silicon–perovskite tandem solar cell technology aimed at enabling India's transition towards next-generation photovoltaic manufacturing. A key highlight of the event was the interaction with Hon'ble Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, Shri Piyush Goyal, who held detailed discussions with the team on the techno-commercial aspects of tandem solar cell technology. The discussions covered manufacturing scalability, supply-chain development, commercialization pathways, and India's strategic opportunity to establish global leadership in advanced photovoltaic technologies. The team was honoured by the Minister's invitation for further discussions on accelerating the technology towards large-scale manufacturing.

The event also highlighted the growing momentum of India's deep-tech ecosystem. ART-PV India attracted significant interest from investors and industry stakeholders working across semiconductors, advanced materials, and clean-energy technologies. Productive discussions with fellow deep-tech startups revealed several opportunities for future collaborations, particularly at the intersection of renewable energy and space technologies, where high-efficiency, lightweight space-grade photovoltaic solutions are expected to play an increasingly important role in powering the rapidly expanding space economy.
