A virtual meeting of the NCPRE PMC was held on June 11, 2026 to review the progress of NCPRE. The PMC members who were present online were Dr. Sushil Kumar (Chairman), Prof. A. Subrahmanyam, Shri S. K. Sangal. In addition, Dr. Chandan Banarjee, Scientist 'G', R&D Advisor, Dr. Anil Kumar, Scientist 'E', and Shri Sachin Meena, Scientist 'C', from MNRE were also present. Prof. B. G. Fernandes, PI of NCPRE presented the Introduction and progress made under Power Electronics & Grid Integration, as well as Education & Training. This was followed by presentations by the other NCPRE group heads: Profs. Anil Kottantharayil and Dinesh Kabra (Solar Cells and Materials), Prof. Narendra Shiradkar (PV Deployment and Reliability). Members of the PMC discussed various technical aspects of the project deliverables. The PMC commended NCPRE's work, encouraging continued focus on innovation, scalability, and lab-to-market transition. The PMC expressed satisfaction with the overall progress of the project and noted that work across all groups is proceeding well.
